Yes, I used the Becker version for a while (while waiting for the 'true' generic Primo 2), and found that many things and options that I had been used to were no longer available..including the ability to use 3rd party skins and other enhancements.
Becker tends to customize everything to their particular desires, so some things that may work or be available in a standard version will be impossible in a Becker version.

OK. I will compare then data.zip from Becker and NNG. Maybe I will find a trace. Any hints are welcome.
