Blaupunkt TravelPilot Lucca 3.3 with igo and no satellite he

Hi I have igo maps running on Blaupunkt TravelPilot Lucca 3.3 but I cant find satellite I have played with system text setting gps to Auto and setting gps to port 2 gps 4800 and still no satellite. Any help would be great thanks

How long do you wait regarding getting a satellite lock? The first one could take as long as 20 minutes depending upon your location. Plus you need a [color=#FF0000]clear[/color] view of the sky and being stationary.

ok travelled for 30min and no joy so I played with ports and freq and nothing.

Were you moving at the time you tried to lock? Did you stay still the whole time with a clear view of the sky? Are you sure that you have the correct port and baud settings?

EDIT: I've seen these settings: port=7, baud=38400 or even 4800

Ok sorted thanks chas521. At first nothing the I replayed with the ports and band rate and I got the right combination. so fir well this model it was port 7 band rate 4800. hope this will help others

o one more question chas521 I have the same model there but not unlocked (I want to unlock)and each time I plug to computer either windows 7 and or windows XP I cant access the internal ram of unit. It keeps saying I can use a faster usb port. But I cant seem to solve this issue. Any ideas
