A few days ago Penavis posted a thread regarding 3d buildings for Europe
(http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?3575-Mio-Mireo-Buildings-3D-mostly-Europe).

A small question: In IGO building files have the 3dl or (3dc for Primo) extention, while the files
in this thread have a cpf extention.
These will probably be a mismatch - should the extention be changed?
Is there any daptation required before usage?

Those are different files for a different device. Not for you. Besides building files are only "eye candy" and really don't add much except to possibly create error messages. Same for dem files.

A small question about the same issue:
Can you explain what is the difference between IGO-8 building files (3dl) and Primo's (3dc).
I guess they're not interchanchable?

Wrong! One can be used with the other.

Both wrong ;)
3dc is building file, 3dl is landmark file. 3dc and 3dl files work in iGO, Amigo and Primo.
