Added the icons folder to my branding.zip as requested. Everything works fine, but there are no new icons in the list when choosing for POIs, only the 3 pages of the ugly blue circle standard ones...

I had a look at the content of the icons file that you sent, and it seem to refer to spr and bmp files my branding.zip does not have (I put a copy of my original file here: [Please Register or Login to download file] ).

Good send. Except that you didn't do what I told you.

"I'm getting exhausted LOL. Let's try it this way, unzip your branding.zip. Inside is a folder called ui_igo8. Open that folder and inside that is a folder called icons." I don't see the icons folder download inside the ui_igo8 folder or did you try it and sent me the old branding with it deleted?

This is how I want your branding.zip to look [Please Register or Login to download file]

EDIT: I also want you to create a folder in the program root called "ui_igo8" - without the quotes. Inside that folder I want you to copy your resolution folder [800_480] plus copy the common folder and the icon folder from my download. You understand?

Your icon folder is over 100,000 while mine is over 400,000.

I know this can be frustrating. I only wish that I had your device in front of me. Therefore, trial and error.

Hi

I posted my branding.zip in its original for, just in case you wanted to have a look at it. When trying it on my unit I followed your instruction and modified it first...

A possible breakthrough! I came across a branding.zip when looking online, and it seems to work! It add 17 pages of icons to the original 3. A copy is here: [Please Register or Login to download file]

Problem I have now is that the icons are very ugly, and I hardly recognise any of them, so not much good... I am in the UK BTW.

How easy/difficult it it to add/remove icons from the above branding.zip?

Interesting branding.zip. I had another idea but it was more involved. As long as you now have something that is working for you, let's leave the one you got. Here's a couple of POI sites that you might want to look at [Please Register or Login to download file] and [Please Register or Login to download file]

Good luck.
