Can .ftr files be edited?

Sat Nov 30, 2013 11:54 pm

Is it possible to edit the .ftr file?
I have been along some roads that are limited in weights and heights and also width restrictions that are not listed on the file
It would be good to edit the file so I can add these new restrictions manually so the software can reroute me properly next time I may encounter same route

No, NavNGo compile the file using their own tools, it is not possible to edit it.

As far as I'm aware it only allowed viewing of the file headers.

iGOview developed by rpul isn't tool for modifying nng map files and adittional map files, but only for checking version of files, etc. from header of files.

No way for editing nng files, they aren't open source map files, so that can be modified, and no public info or some researching in this area, like at Garmin .img format...
