I got the GJ6.9.3p_fullpack.rar Gurjon skin and can't get any of it to work on mu Nextar Q4.

First thing was getting iGO 8.3 working, same version as I have on my old Rightway RW200 320x240.

I had to rename the iGO8 folder and iGO8.exe to iGO and iGO.exe for the Nextar, also had to change the path in sys.txt and that was all it required. It has Amigo on the 2gig SD it came with but it's too stripped down for me.

I have GJ6.14_beta_03_fullpack.rar working perfectly on the Rightway. I figured once I got the newer release going on the Nextar I could put it on the Rightway too.

I've looked over the system.ini from the Rightway, and other stuff, trying to figure out what must be done on the Nextar to get iGO to find and use the skin.

I take it you mean 480x272?

Anyway check whether the skin supports your resolution by opening the zip file on your pc and looking inside the ui_igoX folder, there should be a folder with your resolution as it's title, If not the skin won't work.

I found where in the system.ini to set the path to the skin file but for some reason iGO kept removing that line. Finally got it to stick, but then it kept coming up with some error on startup of iGO.

Is that six point one-eight or six point eighteen, which would be newer than the 6.9.3p version?

I'm currently starting all over on the SD card due to a failure of iGO Premium, which somehow corrupted some files and folders on the card to the point where all I could do was format it.

6.18 is the last Gurjon skin for iGO8.3

I downloaded the Gurjon 6.18. Now I need to know what files to put where. I have Moi C310X gps units using iGO8.

Skin files end in .zip and go in ..\Content\Skin

Create the folder if it doesn't exist.
