If you install ftr files that match the maps you are using (you cannot use a ftr file from a different map version) iGo will plan routes that are suitable for the vehicle size you entered, including avoiding low bridges.

It won't give advance warning of low bridges, although it will alert you when you get close to a bridge that is too low.

I can't see any point in downloading 2015 maps when Q2 2016 ones are available, complete with ftr files.

Look in help/about/content/Lorry restrictions to make sure that the ftr file is being used.

You will not find a torrent for UK FTR files. There won't be one.

You will find a torrent link to maps sets for the whole of europe. There is one for Here maps and there is one for Tomtom maps, both 2016 Q2. Put that link into your torrent software (I recommend Tixati) and choose which files in the torrent you want to download.
