city center?

city center?

Postby dannyu » Tue Aug 24, 2010 3:37 pm

Hi all,

I've finally managed to replace IGO8 with the new PRIMO (thanks to
the excellent guideness by the moderators :yahoo:). It looks differently and I'm sure I'll get used to it quickly.

My question is: I haven't been able to locate how to point to a city center
(e.g. if I don't have a street name).
IGO8 and also MIOMAP 3.3 had this - I can't imagine that it was simply
ommited.

Do anyone of the forum members know if it's there or how to activate it?

Many thanks,
Danny

Just type in the name of the city (suburb, settlement) you want then tap on the bottom right corner where it says select settlement (suburb, city)

@dannyu

I never really noticed but you're correct. Igo8 has a city center on the keyboard page but I don't see it in Primo. City center could be useful but I always enter the full address of the point I'm trying to navigate to. Maybe in the future?
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
