Click sound in IGO8 :-(

Postby egpwii » Mon Jul 19, 2010 4:31 pm

Hello

It's just me again.

How do you remove the click sound that comes every time that you press an icon (in IGO8)?

Thanks in advance
Erik

If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

Gee, that's strange. I tried it and it worked perfectly on my Mio C320. Just asking but could you be possibly referring to the ding before navigation commands?

Like I said, it works perfectly for me. Other than that, I simply don't know. You might try deleting the "save" folder and make the change that I said above.

Check the [debug] section of your sys.txt if it has this entry:

mute_os_key=0 ;

Change the value to 1 or delete the line completely.

There is no mute_os_key=0 ; in my sys.txt. So I just wrote mute_os_key=1 in to the [debug] section and ilooks like it's working :-)

Thanks
