comic or funny voices for igo primo

Anyone know if you can get comic or funny TTS voices for igo primo?
I heard that you can get Homer Simpson and Schwarzenegger on some systems.
I'm running iGo-Primo 2.4-9.6.13 Complete by Yurbuh Tuggly‎.

I haven't heard of any celebrity voices for iGO, although theoretically it is possible to make them as they are only ogg files zipped up (just like TomTom), but in practice it's probably harder than it sounds.

Not sure what system the person who told me about it had. But I wonder if there is a way to use another systems voice files on iGO. eg. If tom tom has celebrity voices make them work on iGO.

You can unpack the free TomTom voices using viftool, it won't work with premium voices (ones that need activation) though.

But you will find iGO voices have many more sound files than TomTom.

If someone wants to spend ages chopping up, editing and re-recording etc then I don't see why it can't be done.

Probably be easier to find a celebrity sound-alike and start over...

I found a version on Garmin here [Please Register or Login to download file]
or free tomtom here [Please Register or Login to download file]
the pirate version seems complex and I don't even know if the result will be able to be used on iGO.

That's the problem, it's a time consuming process with no guarantees it'll work.

If it was as easy as it sounds, someone would have done it already.

I imagine most people get bored of them pretty quickly

A little history to you guys. Many years ago, some computer geeks created TTS for iGO from TomTom voices. It is incredibly hard to do since EVERY letter and symbol means something and generates a navigation response. The biggest problem was that TT is Linux-based while iGO is windows-based. To date, there are NO celebrity voices for iGO. Homer Simpson is only for TT.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
