Could someone please assist a 70 year old ??

Sun Nov 09, 2014 4:33 pm

Good Afternoon UK time,

As identified in the post title, I am a seventy year old, playing with an AS Chinese double din WinCE 6 head unit, fitted to my vauxhall zafira 2009 vintage. see here:

Sorry about the length of the link.

Thanks to [primarily] this forum, but with others too, I have got Sygic Primo version 2.4 up and running on the device. My problem is that I would like to get up to date maps running within the system. The Map folder contains 3 folders, so:

gbr.ta.2014.03, irl.ta.2014.03 [which I don't really need, and wcl. There are 3 other files, namely content.info, content.lic and footprint.info. The contents of content.info are:

[PRODUCT:Drive10 Europe]
name=Drive10 Europe
tts=yes
sdk=no
truckAttr=yes
premiumPOI=yes
exPostals=yes
speedcam=SCDB:EXTEUR:2016.03
maps=TA:EXTEUR:2014.03

This appears to be the only place where the map version is identified. I have gbr.nt.2014.09 with a new wcl folder from the same source, but getting it to work has completely eluded me. Any help would be gratefully received. I am prepared to read even more about the issue if only I could find out where :022: . Thanks in advance and regards to all board members.

Sygic Primo version 2.4?

Sygic and Primo 2.4 are two different GPS applications.

Going on the description of the files I would suggest you have Sygic installed.

And we have a dedicated forum section for Sygic available here...
