It could be the end!!!!

I've just decided to exchange my Ford Focus for a Vauxhaul (opal) Insignia. So that means the end of my Focus specific double din unit that displayed primo so well.

The new car doesn't have built in Sat Nav nor seems that easy to change the head unit unless I pay a ridiculous amount of money to do so, so it might mean the return to my window mounted 'bloody awful' Tomtom unit.

Is their a decent (and reasonably priced) portable unit that runs Primo on it tha I could buy?

You're asking kinda a loaded question. There are MANY different brands of GPS devices out there that are available. The specifications are the most important though. You want a WinCE 5.0 or 6.0, 128 MB RAM, 800_480 resolution for the larger screen. You'll get many different suggestions. Take a look at EBAY.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Ebay is the place to go.
You get DVD/GPS units with the exact fit for your model if you look around.

Do what I did buy a viamichelin GPS unit for about £10 and stick iGO Primo on it, I have written a tutorial somewhere on here on how to do it. Its simple once you know how. The unit itself is just a bog standard box running winCE I put miopocket on it with Garmin, TomTom, iGo, Navigon e.t.c but it didn't have enough memory to cope and crashed all the time. Therefore I recommend just sticking with one program. iGO is my preferred choice.

I looked on ebay and found a load of these 'chinese' 7" touch screen gps units that run inder WINCE 6.0. Costs around £50-£75. Anyone use one of these?

There are about as many different 'brands' of Chinese-based generic GPS devices as there are grains of sand on a beach.:D
Many may actually be the same unit but with different names.
Some people have very good luck with such devices, some not so much.
It's one of those Buyer Beware situations. See if you can find legitimate reviews for a seller before plunking down your money.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.
