I am using Primo2.4-9.6.13, with global_cfg316988.

Whenever I try to select either "Music Player" or "Picture Viewer" in the quick menu the system freezes and I have to restart the device to clear it.

What can I do to cure this?

Does your device support "Music Player" or "Picture Viewer"?
Are you using the default skin or other?

Do you have a large sd card with a lot of folders and files that igo had to search through for content?

This freeze could be igo parsing the card file system for pictures or music files, it could take a while if there's a lot to search through.

Also it has been noted again and again that 2.4 is buggy.

Spot on Fatboyfun. I changed the SD card, that was pretty full, with one that just had the basic Primo2.4 file on it and a music file and a Jpeg file on it. It now works fine.

I have been using Primo2.4 for about a week now with no problems, any that I did have werecleared when I loaded the latest global_cfg file.
