Current GPS position?

Current GPS position?

Postby maa1506 » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:39 am

I have a device running WinCE 6 with Igo Myway Primo 9.2.0.191
On other satnav's there is usually an option to add your current GPS position to existing poi categories. However It will only let you store your position to "Favourites".
Is there a way to change this, or alternatively would it be possible to access where ever the favourites data is stored and manually add these to a poi file?

There is an option to add poi's to an existing group, it's a bit of a faff though...

Tap on the screen
Optional but I find it easier to switch to 2D mode
Tap the area you want to store as a poi so the red icon is there
Tap the blue add poi icon (has a green cross over the top)
Select your poi group
Tap add here
Keep tapping back to exit

Have done as suggested, tap the screen on the map and the red icon appears, however I do not get the blue add poi icon. Instead I have the option to select at the bottom of the screen. When I go into the select menu, I only get an option to save to favourites, not to a poi group.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I have to save a lot of poi's for my job, one nice feature of Primo is you can load a whole days worth of addresses and saved poi's and get primo to work out the best, most efficient route...

By your description, you have Primo 1.2, so you will need the version of the diMka skin specifically for that version. No other version (1.1 or 2.0 for example).
You can find it here:
[Please Register or Login to download file] .
You want P1.3.8.
Or you can just get it here (links to same place for download):
diMka-WA-P1.3.8-Skin-for-iGO-Primo-1.2

Simply download the {skin}.zip files, and place them (do not unzip the skin files) in {Main Primo Folder}\Content\Skin.
Then start Primo and change to the new skin within the settings (Settings>Display>Day skin theme/Night skin theme, etc).
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Big thanks to all, have downloaded the dimka skin and installed as recommended. All works fine and the satnav now does exactly what I needed it to do.
