day/night settings

Postby EddieKruger » Thu Sep 06, 2012 10:31 am

Is there anything that I can add to the sys.txt to make the day and night screen change at the correct times in iGO8? In the settings I have it set to AUTOMATIC and my location is set to South Africa +2 but I have to keep changing it manually.

Looks like you are in the wrong time zone.

Sys.txt lines for timezone are

[timezone]
default_timezone=29 ;Amsterdam
sync_time=1
reset_os_timezone=0
sync_os_timezone=0

Fiddle around with these.
[Please Register or Login to download file] it says Amsterdam is timezone 17 and Hawaii is zone 29 ???

Wonderful! And what are the settings used? Or didn't you change anything?
