You cannot 'exit' an Operating System that is the only one on the device. That is called a reboot.

My unit has an "Exit" application on the windows ce desktop. It just turns off the device.
Maybe what you're looking for is a way to exit the windows desktop and go back to the shell, but I don't think that's possible without rebooting.

If you are running a wince device and exit wince, isn't that the same as resetting the device?

If there is a difference, I can't see what it is.
