gps software not found. help

hi
i backup gps file to computer that works with old map
i downloaded new maps iGO R3 Navteq US-Canada 2012.Q3 but when i put that maps it shows error software not found.
i have indash navigation. i am on 8.3.4.102680..

what should i do so new map works.

When you did the backup, did you delete anything?

"new maps iGO R3 Navteq US-Canada 2012.Q3" are just maps and pois. You will just have to replace what is in your content/map and content/poi folders. Everything else, you will need to keep as is.

If I may interject something here. In NA, it is usually best to use Navteq maps rather than TT for iGO. While it is best to use TT for iGO POIs rather than Navteq POIs. Yes, you can use both at the same time.

i just delet old map and put new maps and poi in its folder.

IGO can use maps from different providers, so if navteq maps don't work for you, you can use teleatlas (now tomtom)

nn=? Do you mean Navteq? TT= TomTom.
