Grand Compass

I have the "Grand Compass" working in Primo V9.6.5.245577 (using the compass_20.zip in the UX folder) on my PNA but when I place the same SD card into my car Navigation it does not show the compass. All else works 100% and it is still ticked in the "extras menu". Is the compass_20.zip resolution specific? Pna using 480_272 and car using 480_234 obviously using multires Data.zip

Yes it is.
Currently supported resolutions are 320x240, 480x272, and 800x480. Others will not work (unless somebody makes or has made another version).
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.
