Hi all.

This link takes me to the latest speedcam text files, namely (UK speedcam txt file for 19.3.2014)

My one on sd card says (speedcam_GB)
However the actual file says speedcam_BG)

Is it simply a matter of renaming the last bit back to GB for instance or is that one for somewhere else?

Open it up in notepad and copy/paste some of the coordinates into Google maps, then you can check where it's for.

I used Notepad++ to open as normal notepad will load garbage.

Thought I was sorted with the quarter 4 link, before finding it may not be the correct one.


Have tried to get them from your link. ([Please Register or Login to download file] )

showing as The connection has timed out
The server at srv.upl.me is taking too long to respond.

When this is put into Google maps it either comes up with Saudi Arabia or Bulgaria depending on which way round the coordinates are.

So one can assume that bg = Bulgaria.

Just tried again and got exactly the same, waited 10 seconds, then "you can download now" then the following error
any further ideas please

When using google maps to check the location, switch the order of the numbers, the highest value should come first:
41.462876,23.652190 (example only)

That's normal to see. Click on "you can download now" when it first appears to start downloading the file. Don't wait.

That is what I am saying
It says
auto redirected
wait 10 seconds 9 seconds etc
you can download now, I then click it &
It makes me wait 40 seconds then says the following as I keep mentioning.
"The server at srv.upl.me is taking too long to respond."

I can only guess you are not actually trying to download it, also

It should be very small, can you pm it to me please if you can get it

ps I have just tried iexplorer instead of firefox and it says
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage "

Very strange. I just downloaded the file from the link with no problem. I don't know why you're having a problem. Nevertheless, I'll re-up it to another site for you.

It's possible that on certain locations some sites are filtered in some way so that download doesn't work.
Or the internet settings or browser (my best experience is with Firefox, worst with IE) or antivirus interfere.
