Help! Installing iGO 8.3 Picture goes all white and rolls!

Postby bobbymustang » Mon Oct 31, 2011 10:36 pm

It works!!! Chas521 you are da man! BTW we are kinda neighbors, I'm in CT. OK, to recap, here's what I did:
Saved the 800_480 to sys.txt = NG
Delete the "save" folder = NG
Add the above interface and raw display settings = It works!

I am currently using North_America_NT_Easy 2010 Q4 maps. took about 30 seconds to load the correct position and all comes up great! Now, I'd like to add poi's. Will the same one's that I use in Primo work?

Thanks again Chas521!

:clap: It looks like you're using the correct maps. .FBL go into content\map. You can use TA POIs [content\poi] with Navteq maps. TA POIs are superior to Navteq POIs. I have the TA POIs if you need them.

Give me about 10 minutes to upload. BTW, that iGO8 is superior to Primo - and I am sure of that!!!!

10 minutes was too optimistic. Probably a little longer.

@bobbymustang

You're very welcome! Thanks for the thanks. However, we're trying to save members time from reading posts that are pretty much just "thanks." So it would be better if you just press the "thanks button" on the lower left of the post. Enjoy your device. :)
