Help on updating my unknown device

Postby snc1052 » Mon May 28, 2018 12:11 am

Hello Everyone - I am a newbie to this area and so seek your guidance please. I was handed over a GPS device my dealer which when I try to update using the Naviextras toolbox is not getting recognized. What I understand is the device reads from the resident flash, and on connecting the USB drives are recognized by my PC but not by the toolbox. I have pasted below the SYS.txt file details. Can you please guide me the right way to achieve my goal.

Also; the " Update & Extras" path gives me an error - Error loading file: i18n/480_272/naviestrascontent.xhtml.

Just download the current maps from here and put them into the appropriate content folder. It's not the program that is most important but the contents contained therein.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

Just do a search here. Fbl files go into content\map.
