Can you be a bit more specific?
Traffic alert is speedcam warning or driver alerts (for road signs like curves etc)? Whap map(s) and/or other files (POI? KML? fda? ...) you are trying to use?

Do you mean TMC? Does this version of iGO supports this option?

Do you have the relevant TMC files in the right folder (content/tmc)?

Here is a print screen from my device, running iGO 8.3.5. My device does not have a receiver.

Excuse me in advance, but it's still not 100% clear to me. I don't know the device at all so I am not sure what you mean exactly.
We (Filesupload100 and myself) THINK you mean TMC, but we can be wrong in the end.

Thus can you clear up when I make this note?

TMC and "FM transmitter" - watch me use the word "transmitter" - are not the same and are not related to each other.
A "FM Transmitter" function on the device lets the announcements/directions/warnings of the GPS, that is the sound, come out of the car stereo speakers.
"FM receiver" could mean a radio, but that does not mean capable of the reception of TMC messages. Therefor you need a TMC module (receiver).

When you mean TMC, then Filesupload100 asked the right questions.

I have online traffic on igo primo. The problem is, when i start up igo primo the traffic information is loaded via internet. So far, so good. uUt, it is always the same information and does not change/refreshes with new information about traffic.

How come?

You'll never know until you test it.
Here it is:

thanks. I have tested it, but still the same. It loads the same (old) traffic data once from internet.

Strange problem.

First, check if online traffic is checked:
Settings-> Traffic-> Online Traffic (checked?)
Second, try to change the source of the data:
Settings-> Traffic-> Online Traffic Source-> Wi-Fi & 3G/Wi-Fi

First, check if online traffic is checked:
Settings-> Traffic-> Online Traffic (checked?) Yes
Second, try to change the source of the data: ???
Settings-> Traffic-> Online Traffic Source-> Wi-Fi & 3G/Wi-Fi: Yes

How can I choose another source of the data?

I use Samsung Galaxy S4. I can choose if I want to get data via phone on not.
Check with your cellular company what traffic volume is included in your package, so you will not pay extra for something you didn't plan.

Settings-> Connections-> Use of Data-> Data on Mobile (check box)

Wow.
is this screen part of the igo app? I don't have such choices. I use iGo primo version 9.6.29.383117.

I use a acer mobile liquid e2 duo and i can't find these choices neither on this mobile.
THe only thing i can do is choose which of the 2 sims must be connected for data connection and 3g service. Internet works on my phone wifi and also 3g), so that must be ok.
