How to Add Top-Centered Menu on Primo 1.1 (like Primo 1.2 or 2.0)?

Postby ransel » Mon May 21, 2012 2:38 am

Hi all,

I have Primo 1.1/ v8.5.11 (nov 17, 2010). It's an old version of Primo. Yesterday, I run this version but suddenly, it has more menu (pls see attachement, Menu on top-center with "S" letter) for while. But next, I can't see this menu again. This menu usually can see on ver 1.2 and 2.0.

Can anyone tell me how to make this menu appear on Primo 1.1? pls...

Where did you get your version of Primo? I have to think that you have added some sort of skin in addition to the program.

Isn't that just the map-screen compass?
Letter "S" being "South".
I typically turn that off myself, so I can't be sure if that is a default view option, or only appears with a skin.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

It can go to "Where am I" directly and that's what i need.

So, is it possible to add that menu?

You're talking about the default display on top of the screen when there is no route on the default skin (no skin). If you're just driving (no route/ no destination), then that is what is displayed in lieu of the [next street]. On the middle is the direction you're headed (N-E-W-S) and on the left and right would be the house number on the left and on the right as you drive along. If you tap/click on this display, it would go to the [where am I] display. This is not really a "menu".

FYI, using the compass points of N, E, W, S is where the word "NEWS" come from. Just a bit of trivia that doesn't mean much.
