how to get live traffic working? (canada)

i have iGO Primo 2.4 9.6.29.379219 installed with 2012 truck maps because they are the most accurate(with restrictions) in Canada for me.

i dont have a sys.txt but i do have--- [DATA.ZIP]\project_config\igo9.ini

i had online traffic working before but that was many settings ago and ive tried setting traffic values to 1 but i must be doing something wrong.

thanks for any help.

I understand. Just want you to know that errors can occur because a sys.txt entry was misread. Although if it ain't broke don't fix it.

This is significant...

"i dont have a sys.txt but i do have--- [DATA.ZIP]\project_config\igo9.ini"

Online traffic has many issues and I don't think it's been fully solved yet.

"Well, iGO did look iGO8 for a file in the following order and always takes the first one that it finds:

1. direct folder structure
2. inside SKIN.ZIP
3. inside BRANDING.ZIP
4. inside DATA.ZIP


And to add more info, settings are in the following order:

1. SYS.TXT (overrides everything)
2. save\SYSTEM.INI
3. [DATA.ZIP]\project_config\igo8_generic.ini (or whatever project is set in SYS or EXE)
4. [DATA.ZIP]\config\devices\{my_device}.ini"
