Did you download and install MY iGO8? Then you should HAVE TTS. Stick with IGO and Garmin XT. Forget the others.

It's no bother.

What does you're device call the sd card?

It'll be something like Storage Card or SDMMC

As Fatboyfun said, it's never a bother. For Mobile XT http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?1274-Garmin-Mobile-XT-for-WinCE5.0-program Also, make sure you read the appropriate stickies in the Garmin software section.

It seems like this One will be a bit of a pain. Although I think there's a guy in that forum that has my same unit, the eonon e1025 but he didn't explain how really got it too work at the end.

How do you know it will be pain? Did you try it?

EDIT: Can you link me to that Eonon e1025 post?

Garmin needs "a bit of work" to install, it's not really that difficult to do, the problem is that Garmin mobile xt is really for windows mobile and while it works on some builds of windows ce, it doesn't work on them all.

You will see versions of Garmin for different storage card names, pick the version for SDMMC, (the difference is in the scripts), you may need to modify the script to suit your device, then once you've got it started you use a keygen to generate a key which you copy into a text file.

Or you could just install iGO which requires none of this!

@ jex

throughout this thread everyone is telling you "iGO is better", "Igo does exactly what you want" and "use iGO" and you persist in trying everything but iGO :scratch_one-s_head_
hmmmm

Say, when turned this iGO thread in the iGO forum to a Garmin installation thread ?

Agreed.
How Do I Load IGo8.....

Since the OP has apparently changed his mind mid-stream, perhaps the thread (or relevant parts of it) should be moved to the appropriate forum section.
Otherwise, others looking for help with iGo may be confused.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Not 'accusing' you of anything, but a good part of this thread is now about Garmin, not iGo.
What should have been done is for you to open a new thread in the Garmin section.
But you did not, so much of this thread is no longer relevant to the section it is in.
Kinda like if you went to a Linux forum for tips about installing Linux, then started talking about installing Windows in the same thread...it just doesn't fit.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.
