How To Move Road Name Dialog Box Lower?

Postby DietCoke » Fri Jan 30, 2015 6:34 am

Hello, everyone
I have a query about my iGO Primo Israel 2.4 9.6.29.427562
My smart phone is Android v.4.4.2 Kikat

When iGO Primo gets started, there is a dialog box of the road where I am driving now
However, this dialog box covers the blue arrow cursor

Image

Is there any solution to move it lower or in the bottom of screen?
Any help is appreciated in advance

This is a solution in WinCE, it shows street names not in a balloon, like in your screen shot.
Try it. In sys.txt, add

[3d_config]
disable_roadsign_navigation_mode=1 ;=0 balloon =1 in street

Are you using the correct data.zip (mainly multimode.ini) and sys.txt entries for your resolution? Maybe it's just the screenshot but to me the interface elements seems to be out of proportion with the actual displayed map.

What does your screen look like when you're in navigation mode?

Mate is that a live screenshot with you being out and about? See my picture, that is me sitting still in my house. Go out and about the cursor will move closer to the middle of the screen, or it does on mine.

Well, I was messing around with my Android Primo yesterday and (and found myself lucky to have a backup of the save folder :lol: even it was an older one :lol: ). The story however is that the street names appeared in a balloon, don't know why, they did not before I messed up things. So I followed my advice myself and it works. No more balloons on the screen :lol:

Anyway a lesson learned : make sure you have a recent backup ! :033:
