There may be a number of things in your sys.txt that could be wrong, but before that, see if you can run this, and report back what it says as far as resolution:
http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?6289-WinCE-Device-Information.

Another option is to move sys.txt from your iGo folder, and try to start with no sys.txt at all and see what happens.

First thing is to open the data.zip and branding.zip and navigate into the ui_igo8 folder to see if there's a 480x234 folder within both archives. If not then you need another data/branding.zip

Then in the sys.txt change the references to the device resolution in the interface and rawdisplay sections...

resolution_dir="480x234"
vga=0

And

screen_x=480
screen_y=234

According to what I've seen, his resolution is 800_480 for digital use.

Try renaming branding.zip to branding.OLDzip, restart, and see what happens.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

YOUR RESOLUTION IS 800_480 NOT 480_234. Did you not read the link I supplied? Or my post #6?

Last time. Follow my instructions in post #6. Back-up your SD card first and then delete everything and start from scratch.
