just a little lost with your link im only new

I can see that you're lost and confused so I'll be more gentle. Your crash log is still showing that you're trying to run v. 79297 - actually a good version! I'm trying to update it for you with a newer version. So do this:

1. Back-up whatever is presently on your SD card to your computer in case something goes wrong. This way you'll have something to go back to.
2. AFTER backing up, delete everything from your SD card.
3. In post #6, I link you to another 2din member that I was successful with. Read it from post #10.
4. In that thread link, I want you to download my iGO8 program.
5. Using "Winrar", extract the downloaded program to your SD card.
6. Read that linked thread because there is information that you will probably need to make entries to the sys.txt and add whatever you might need to for your specific device. BTW, your resolution is 800_480 and has nothing to do with 480_234.
7. After extracting the program to your SD card, add the content. Maps [.fbl] go into content\map.
8. Completely shutdown your device, wait a few seconds and restart. :)
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

NO! 800_480 not 234. Also you might need to add your device specific information.

If the above is the actual sys.txt you are trying to use, you have duplicate category headers:
[rawdisplay]
[map]....
This is usually not a good idea. You should consolidate these...and also, it is sometimes good to put the category headers into alphanumerical order:
[1]

[2]

[a]

[b]

etc.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Add this to your sys.txt, restart the device, and try again:
[gps]
port=1
baud=38400
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.
