Some time ago a member asked me to create a utility to quickly hide the speed cameras within iGO if stopped by the police.
I have recently updated this utility to include a basic setup screen where you can enable/disable the floating button and configure the size/location/colour of the button.
Here is the setup screen...
Here you can see the floating button in it's default setting...
INFORMATION.
This version of HYSCv2 will zip up the speedcam files and hide the archive in the root of the drive under a different name to be safe from casual examination at the roadside.
Running BootSC.exe while iGO is running will stop iGO's process, archive and remove ALL the speed camera files in ..\Content\Speedcam and restart iGO, Running it again will stop iGO, restore the speed camera files and restart iGO, A sound effect will be played to notify you that the speed cameras are enabled.
You can run Setup.exe from within iGO to change the floating button options.
The floating button can be set to be either enabled or disabled, positioned in any corner with three different sizes and can be in a range of colours, The default is top left, medium sized and blue.
INSTRUCTIONS.
Download and extract the files into the same directory as {iGO/Primo}.exe
Set your device to run Start.exe instead of {iGO/Primo}.exe
On first run you are taken to the setup utility where you must "Choose iGO executable" before you can continue, HYSCv2 will guess at what the executable is called, If it can't a list will be displayed.
You can set up the other options if you want to but these are optional.
Select "Save and Exit" to continue...
The next time Start.exe is run iGO starts with the floating button if enabled.
If your build of iGO has the ability to have a Bluetooth button in the cockpit screen, then you can set it to run BootSC.exe otherwise you can use the floating button which is configured to run BootSC.exe automatically.
BootSC.exe -> This is the script that stops iGO, Hides (Or restores) the speedcams and restarts iGO.
Start.exe -> Run this to start iGO and the floating button if enabled.
Setup.exe -> This calls the setup utility so you can change the settings from within iGO.
