Changing that to 25 did it. I went back and changed it to 20...Just the way I like it.

Going out soon as the Mrs. wants to go shopping. But I'll be back to read about the cars icons.

Is there anyway to make the nav voice louder as I have it set to the max but could use it a little louder?

Font size had to be "either or." I guess it was "or."

If you have my sys.txt and my voices, then it's the loudest it will be.

EDIT: You can try this in the sys.txt, increase the gain number slightly higher. But be careful because you can blow out your speakers.

Unfort even at 12 didn't raise the voice.

I'll try 14 and see what happens.

I downloaded the 3D cars and followed the instructions to add to my .sys

[3dcar]
work_dir="\SD Card\iGO8" location of 3dCars folder
mortscript="\SD Card\iGO8\Themechanger\MortScript.exe" ;location of MortScript.exe


Then I tried putting the cars in the

IGO8 folder

iu_IGO8 folder

and created it's own folder
Cars and placed it on the sd card with the other folders.

Still no option on the screen like I had with the non-HD IGO8

What now? (Boy and just when I thought I was done tweaking...not!).

There is an error in the instructions with the 3DCars...

Copy the 3DCars folder into the iGO directory as it is in the archive...

Change the sys.txt entry highlighted above to the one highlighted below...

Obviously you need to be using a compatible skin for this feature to work.

I think it's the Dimka skin.

I was afraid of that. They kinda use turbobit.com and uploading.com a lot and because of recent history we are blocked here in the US. Maybe if you list the links to whatever you need downloaded, one of our friends from the other side of the pond can download it for you and re-upload for you on, say, rapidshare.com.
