Try lowering the gain to a low number to see if the sound really goes low - as a test. You can always raise it back to 12.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

could anyone tell me where i should post questions about NNG IGO 8 ver 8.3.5.1835522 mar 16 2011, im using a Binatone F430 UK & R.O.I, i have basemap 2009.09 ver NIMA VMAPO [091215]. everything works except routes planning journey i think that's all down to having no map on the sd card as FATBOYFUN link is down, i have set up GPS, compass and speed work. any help would be great even if moving my post is done to the correct category. some options low-lighted on device
