I just checked and Navteq UK maps have those islands included.

Just copy the map into the ..iGO\\content\map folder
Is your version of iGO "unlocked" ie, Did you install it yourself or was it pre-installed when you bought the device?

The IGO 8 Software came on an SD card. I bought another vesrion of the software and tried copying over the UK map but it was not recognised and this software did not work on my Sat Nav as it was for a PDA. I tried switching the whole contenst folder but again this did not work. I am happy to buy another full IGO 8 as long as the software works and it has the IOM and Channel Island Maps.

Thanks for your reply

Thanks for the repy

@topdown

The reason the maps are not recognized is because you are trying to use cracked maps with the genuine program that came with your SD card.
You need to download and install one of the programs here in order to use the maps. You need to identify the name of your unit and the specs.
