Use mine and just edit with your device. BTW, what map are you using and where did you get it? It may not be correct.

I got it from a site that the company I bought the gps from said he had all the maps.
I have looked in my old back up file I see 12 folders only 3 have a date in the modified column they are

First of all, when I say back-up, it means for you to just copy that information somewhere safe - just in case that is. You should be using ONLY my uploaded program package and nothing else except for the sys.txt changes that I told you to make. Incidentally, what country map are you using?

I think we may have missed something I made a back up onto pc then deleted all folders on device.
All I am using is your program .I have looked back into previous post and cant find anywhere where you told me to change sys.txt file.
The maps I have to use are Spain,Portugal,Germany,France and the uk.
I think i will download your program again tomorrow and try again if you can tell me what changes i need to make in sys.txt

Sorry. I thought you would know to make the changes in the sys.txt for your personal device. I shouldn't have assumed so I AM sorry. I doubt that you have to re-download my program again unless you deleted something from it. All I want you to do is add those entries from the iGO My Way sys.txt that are not in mine to my sys.txt plus correct the numbers in mine for your resolution.

LOL no need to be sorry I am the one to be sorry for being such a noob I will try the above tomorrow as its 11.45 pm here and I will post my findings.
I think i understand what i need to do (copy my sys.txt entries into your sys.txt) but i am not sure what you mean when you say "plus correct the numbers in mine for your resolution."

You're a whiz with TT - right? I may need your help sometime. My resolution numbers are 480_272 which are in my sys.txt. You'll need to change those numbers to 800_480. Don't forget to save the sys.txt after you edit it and before you exit.

I have downloaded several European countries but on tomtom their is a map called europe that contains all countries there is even one for truck has IGo got the same if so where can I find it.
Is it possible to change the position icon from a arrow to a car.

And when you're ready to make the change to UK, you'll find the necessary maps here in the iGO maps sub-section. Now that you have the program working successfully it's time to add a skin to make it show a car rather than an arrow. So you go here [Please Register or Login to download file] The car collection is found at the bottom of the page.

Just add the file to content\skin. Shutdown your device, wait a few seconds and restart. In the iGO program, go to settings\second page\menu and choose skin and then choose the skin that you just installed. Good luck with your new device. :clap:

Sorry, but there isn't a map just for trucks in iGO.

IGO has no single European map, you can download and load all seperate ones, or only the ones you need (including the drive through needed countries). However, Major Roads maps do exist.
Some Navteq maps have truck info (or mobilhome

) but you need a Becker iGO for it or Primo.

The cursor can be changed in a car. Either use a skin (dimka or Gurjon - standard car is a Mini, more cars available) or download the needed files (plus manual (same files as needed for skins) from kimyaci website. (All this is mentioned before)
Also, there is an alternative way (see the help section) but all links are dead. Possibly visiting Kimyaci website will give a solution ?

Operating System : WinCE, WM + iGO8.3.4 + Gurjon skin, Dimka WertVRV, Dimka Megaduck, Dimka TomSoft
Overview : The 3DCars features allow you to replace the cursor with another and not just hide with .jpg file.
You can zoom, rotate vertical/horizontal the 3DCar even (or especially) when you navigate.

When you use a .jpg file to hide the implicit cursor at rotary (merry-go-round) it become visible difference between .jpg and cursor

Carefully with the path you indicate in SYS.txt : SDCard, Storage Card, etc identical with Folders Structure

Some explanations
Script make a folder gfx or, if that folder already exist, just write 4 files :
tank.mdl->car.mdl
tank.mdl->car_grey.mdl
tank.mdl->car_night.mdl
tank.tex->tank.tex
Of couse, you can do that by your self.
By this moment you can delete 3DCars folder, MortScript but you'll have 3DCar cursor in all skin, even in default skin.

All you have to do is copy gfx folder (or if already exist, copy those 4 files in your already existing gfx folder) and you'll have 3DCar cursor.
Also you can use the GFX folder already done with iGO8PC, iGO Primo.

I have dowloaded the cars zip file do I unzip it into igo/content/skin or just put it in there.
also how do I get speed cam warning sounds.
