If so, you need additional files and folders located elsewhere.

Yes some have tts most are foreign language what do i need to do to use them they are all zipped.
I had to remove the skin as it kept locking the unit up saying out of memory.so looking for another.

TTS voices need to stay zipped as well. When you don't need those foreign languages, delete them.

They should be zipped. Like Car and Skin files, they must remain zipped. However, you can freely delete any that you obviously do not need (specific foreign languages that you will never use). The language should be fairly obvious, and there are also accents for different languages.
For example:
Voice_Eng-us-m1-lua.zip
Indicates an ENGlish voice with a US accent, and is Male.
And
Voice_TTS-nua-eng-au-f1-lua-dri40-vssq5f22.zip
Indicates a Text To Speech ENGlish AUstralian Female voice.

What skin did you try?
How to enable the TTS voices depends on what types they are (LOQuendo or NUAnce), and the exact version of iGo you are running.

Not sure what skin it was I have deleted it but I may try My_Amigo_Skin_V40.rar if you think it will be ok not sure how to install it properly any ideas.
Tell me how to find version of igo please,all I know is its IGo my way.

It's not letting me post. I wrote that thing twice and twice it didn't work. I'll get to it later again. This one went through OK.

I had something like that a few months ago I had to use internet explorer and not firefox,it cured itsself after about 2 weeks.

I put on the igo8 you sent all working ok thank you. Only one problem my screen is 7 inch and the map is only showing in the top left hand corner of the screen ???????????

Data.zip\ui_igo8 folder. Also, why did you change the sys.txt I included with the download? All you should have done is add and edit entries for your device. But if it's working then what the hell!
