The only way I can think of is to hard reset the device - see the manual which button to press/hold - (or let the battery drain completely) and hope the firmware does something to revive the USB . But I do fear it's a no-go.
OR
Possibly flash the firmware? Mostly the procedure sounds simple enough : download and copy to sd, then start up after a hard reset. If that is valuable for each device. I have no experience with this and do NOT guarantee anything.
But it's up to you.
I guess Mio can solve it, when you pay. The device probably not the newest, is it worth the cost?
