Hi, i have some problems with my Medianav, i installed Menavrus to allow for the reversing camera and for a better navigation soloution, the Menavrus has all installed ok and works as it should, the problems or questions i have are,

1, When i install Menavrus on the original Medianav, the original Medianav software (i believe to be igo variant), looses the ability to search for 7 digit postcodes, i have tried speaking via forums and email to the developers regards this problem and he states that Menavrus does not mess with the original NNG software files at all, but something must happen for it to stop working, also the developers are Russian which doesn't seem to be helping, as the language barrier, there are other options for navigation within Menavrus which are mainly aimed at the eastern countries, 7 ways which is defiantly on non runner, and Navitel Navigator which although does seem to show postcodes for the UK on the map, for some bizarre reason doesn't allow you to search for them.

2, There is a variant of iGo within the Menavrus install which i believe is aimed more at western countries, but that one has it own problems, such as only been a very basic version 8.3 i believe, and not very customisable whatsoever.

3, There is a more acceptable and a lot better for my needs version of iGo available on there website, but this one has sound problems, everything works well and really pleasaed with this version, up until the road speed reaches around 60mph ish, then for some reason, it appears to start switching between the radio and satnav audio constantly which makes it unusable unless you actually mute the navigation, which then makes it pointless, especially for the speedcam and warning side of things, the other problem with this version is that although it is very customisable (which is really good), when i alter one of the settings, it doent save them, ie if i tell it to show street names it will do, but when i restart the setting seem to go back to default without been saved.

I hope someone understands my problem and can maybe provide a solution, especially for the last one, 3, i have spent hours/days nearly trying to resolve this, but i am an electrician and just keep getting lost in all the vast amount of information, and like i say the developers are Russian, so that just makes it even harder, i used to have a carminat tomtom in my old vehicle and am wanting this to work in the same way, but it may just be me wanting too much.

i am willing to make a contribution if someone has a solution, other than me just buying a tomtom.
