Igo Primo Android Chinese 2 Din Settings Problems

Getting English back is the first task...

On Android the system language is under

Settings/Language and input/Language

Try using an online translator to convert 'language' into Chinese to help with menu navigation.

Once back into English see if the card can be mounted.

OK, through a bit of trial and lots of error I've managed to get the English back. (phew). However Igo Primo is lost and no longer listed as an App. Navigation SD is still not being mounted either automatically or through storage settings. Media SD card (different SD slot) is recognised automatically.

I think the original iGO is lost, however you can download a new copy from here.

Can you mount another card in the navigation slot?

The above link to download iGO just takes me to ad after ad after ad. Can you direct me to another place or an actual address? I havent been able to mount another card. I put in a newly formatted FAT32 card with nothing on it but it wasnt recognised.

@ mortein

What link ?

Filesupload100 is trying to help you. He only asks you where exactly you find the download link so he can possibly guide you to download without ads, or, when needed and when he can, renew the links (dead links can also be a problem). Nobody knows what 'this link' or 'the above link' is or where it is located (which post). We do not see trough your eyes.

Oh: and we also don't read minds

There obviously has been some confusion. I thought 'filesupload100' was giving me another link rather than asking me where the link was. So the link I was referring to was the last post from 'Fatboyfun' on this page 5 posts up. I understand people are trying to help.

I meant here, as in "the site".

"from here" is probably from the program section.
It is not a link, I wonder what ad's did you get.

The confusion starts by you because Fatboyfuns post #33 does not contain any clickable link, so ads followed by ads .... how? Where did you click on?????

On my site fatboyfun post #33 'from here' is in green, underlined and clickable...... so naturally I thought that was the link. (there are green links in many of your posts....how come I can see them and you cant?) Now that I have ben advised that 'from here' means from 'this site' I understand. Can someone post the actual address for the right link to download the correct version (I was using iGO Primo 9.6.7.235654.?} thank you again.

As you have an Android device, you are best off looking here...

http://www.navitotal.com/forumdisplay.php?172-Android-Apps

You have many options including Tomtom, Sygic, iGO Primo etc...

Your devices screen resolution is an important factor in what's suitable for your device.

But not being able to mount the SD card is going to be a problem whatever app you choose.

Apologies for the confusion over the links!

Thanks fatboyfun. I'm really a novice and have never loaded an Adroid app or any other app for that matter, so I might need some basic help. My in car system has wifi so I can connect to the Internet and download files which may avoid the issue with the SD card slot for now. So what do I download and how do I install. Is it just a matter of clicking on the iGO Primo.apk file?

The Green Links are related to site advertising and are automatically done.

You are correct, Bazzle, only I don't see any green in post #33. Maybe it's related to a certain time or what?
@ mortein: links to downloadable stuff are blue
