iGo Primo Assistance - Fatal Error

Postby josh200396 » Sun Jul 31, 2016 2:40 pm

I recently purchased a Pyle PLCMDVR7G for a trip I'm taking in a few days. Pyle accidentally left the GPS SD card out of the box. I have contacted customer service and they can't get one shipped to me before I leave town. I am here looking for assistance with the DL and install of the software. So far I have DL'ed the Mobile Navigator 9.6.13.405512 file, unzipped it and put it on my SD card. I have also DL'ed the North American maps and installed them in the content-map folder. When I put the SD card in my unit and direct it to the Mobile Navigator WD file it says starting, then I get a Fatal Error Address: 0x400630fc Exception: 0xc0000005. I'm sure I've missed some steps or misread a tutorial in a hasty attempt to get this fixed before I leave. Any idea why I'm getting the Fatal Error?
Thanks!

If the version you've download is from here, maybe this is the problem, because it suports only resolution 800X480.
Go download this version (thanks to nabi), it suports 320X240, 480X234 and 480X272 as well, so maybe one of them is your resolution :)
One more thing, replace your global_cfg.zip file with a newer version, here.

Enjoy your trip...

OK, so now I'm getting Global_cfg not found. I DL'd the global file you linked and unzipped it and placed the unzipped file in Content-Global folder.

Why to unzip it? Did you see that the old one is zipped? Move the new one as it is, global_cfg.zip to the folder.

Do not un-zip files, unless stated otherwise.
The file data.zip in the main package, should be moved to the device as a zip file, as well.
