IGO Primo Destination File

IGO Primo Destination File

Postby dohcacr » Sat Sep 27, 2014 12:53 pm

I'm about to setup a new GPS and I would like to transfer the route history information from my old gps to the new GPS. Both are running Primo. I'm guessing that the information is somewhere in the "Profile" folder, but I would like to know specifically which file, because If I transfer the entire profile folder, the odds are high that the gps will crash at startup. Anyone know, for sure, which file contains the destination history?

Start your app, set a new route. SAVE it. Close the app and connect the device to your pc.
Navigate to "Primo/save/profiles/nn/routes"
nn -> profile number

You will find a list of route files (route001.dat, route002.dat etc.). look for the file changed/created today.
This is the location that the app keeps the routes for your current profile.

I would copy all the profile folder ("01" or "02" or whatever) to the new device, since this is the full information for the profile you're using.

I found the file. The file is quite simply history.sav in /save/profiles/01. Just copy the file from your old GPS to the new and you have all of your previously used destinations available to use on your new GPS.
