Delete the save folder and make 100% sure the pad to the exe file is correct.
Is your SDcard called SDCARD ? Maybe your device does not understand the "%", maybe the device needs "\" and not "/" in its path.

i've renamed igo.exe to installSD, and erased the igo8 folder.
the device has started with "navitotal.com" screen
at the "program language" screen, i can choose between English UK, or US, but nothing happen after.
i hear the sound each time i click for choosing.
it should come from the sys.txt file
did you got any idea ?

There should be a "Done" button in the bottom right, if not, you have a resolution issue.

You can fix this in the SYS.txt

Open the SYS.txt of the current programme and edit the resolution entries to match your device.

Look for these entries specifically, and change the values to match your device...

[interface]
resolution_dir="480_272"

[rawdisplay]
screen_x=480
screen_y=272

You may not have the bottom entries.

I don't know what program you're using and from where but you should check my igo8 program thread to learn what sys.txt entry goes where.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

i've changed it to 320_240 in the sys.txt, & it has started.
when "mainscreen load" appears at the bottom of the screen,
i have FFUIERROR:parse error [</script> expected]
i've done what is said in post 31
put my old branding zip with the data zip issued of the group, and reverse,
put my 2 old files, but nothing works.
i don't have the same massage each time.
the file from march is the newest i've found
any idea?

I would say you had a bad download or extraction.

Sometimes you just get a bad download for no reason, and downloading the same file again works the second time.

Rename the SYS.txt to SYS.txt.old, so you don't have a SYS.txt in the folder, delete the save folder as well, see what happens now
