igo primo 2.0

Postby mappy 1 » Thu Feb 21, 2013 5:17 pm

Hi there can anyone help me i'm running igo primo 2.0 on windows ce with the uk maps and speedcam files. The problem i'm having is the camera icons come up on the map but i have no audio alert telling me. The alert types are set to audio and visual, also the speedcam folder has the text files in it. Any help would be most grateful.

You could install either a TTS voice or a skin. (or both)
* I am told TTS voices announce the cameras. I can't tell for sure because I do not use TTS.
* Do like me and install a skin, I would say diMKa is a good choice (I use it on Primo). Gurjon is a excellent alternative.
Skins give you more control about the announcements and will give extra features. When TTS is installed, you can have the TTS make the announcements. When not (or you don't want TTS announcing the cams) you need to install an audio folder - same way, same folder for diMKA and Gurjon. More info on the diMKa web page : [Please Register or Login to download file]

Try renaming the save folder, something may have gotten corrupted, rename it back if it doesn't work.
