Igo primo 2.0 tmc on eroda x10

Postby dotba22 » Thu Apr 18, 2013 10:17 am

Hi This is only my second post so hope its in correct place?! I have a Eroda X10 running IGO Primo 2.0 with no issues at present. I have noticed I have a traffic icon at the navigation menu next to power on/off and also next to time/date when on map screen. Am I able to use this function or do I need a special lead to make it work? I did a quick google of tmc lead for Eroda X10 but nothing comes up. Any help or advice would be great as it would be handy to have working.

Thanks in advance

To my knowledge the Eroda X10 don,t have an TMC receiver (hard-ware). So you can not use that function.

Hi holyhead thanks for the response. I wasn't sure if a external receiver was available to buy like you get with some of the garmins that plugs in the usb and doubles as a tms/power cable.

Garmin has difference external receivers and i suppose those are not working on your satnav. I have tried several external TMC receivers (Garmin, TomTom, Navigon, Mio) and was unable to got them working with Primo. The only receiver I got working with Primo was a build in receiver from a Mio Spirit 505. Maybe someone else know more about it.

Thanks you saved me some money as I was tempted to try other leads to see if they worked or not. Like you say hopefully somebody will have more knowledge on this and has the answer.
