HI
everything is said,
As soon as i put an .hsp files in /content/histSpeed, IGO reboots on any clic.
What can i do ?
I saw that it might be a LICENCE problem, but i really don't know how to solve this problem.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

A histspeed file ends in .hsp (United_Kingdom_83_NQ_60_2010.Q1_100702.hsp)
Are you sure you have the right file..?
Wed Aug 22, 2012 8:02 am
Yes, sorry for that.
It's HSP files.
However, this morning it's working fine with them.
Don't know what happened.

Sometimes when changing content, it can take a couple start-ups before everything is registered correctly (and recorded in the Save folder).
No real pattern to it....it just happens occasionally on certain devices.

OK,
Unfortunately, at noon, after choosing a POI, the problem appeared again.
I'm running France_UNAV_60_2012.06_120612.hsp

And why is it looking for primo2.map?

Probably not related. But you could remove any HNR files to see if it makes any difference.
By the way, in case you did not know: HNR files are totally
ignored and not used unless
ALL maps for the region are available to Primo.
For instance, if you have HNR files for Eastern Europe, you would also have to have every individual country map file for all of Eastern Europe also installed in your /map folder.
elfman wrote:And why is it looking for primo2.map?
Ignore that...it's a somewhat meaningless "General Error" that is a result of how the EXE was 'fixed' to work on most devices.
Wed Aug 22, 2012 12:32 pm
I must be missing something.
hnr files are historic route files, you have them for Eastern Europe but you have no Eastern Europe map in the map folder? Then they are useless. Besides, you need ALL Eastern Europe maps for this feature. (or all Western Europe maps with Western Europe hnr or ALL)
I see no hsp file? Where did you put it? HSP files go in Primo/Content/histspeed and I don't see it at all.
map file missing is a message not to worry about. It's a Primo internal message, only for programmers (of the official build). The message appearing means your build is not obtained the official way.

Additionally, I'm starting to think that maybe you have overloaded Primo 2 with content...for your device.
According to the specs I looked up, your Mio Spirit 470 has 64MB of RAM.
That is enough to run Primo 2, but only in a more minimal configuration (no TTS, 3D features reduced, etc).
For a Full Boatload of features, Primo 2 requires 128 MB Ram.

NO, i didn't know that.

I mentionned it a few posts before, i'm using France_UNAV_60_2012.06_120612.hsp in the correct folder.

Yes I know, but i find IGO navigation really really good with all it's possibilities.
I'm using 3D, buildings and TTS voices, but i didn't had any problems before this one with HSP files.
I'm trying it without the hnr and wiil edit this post.
Thank you to both of you for your replies.
EDIT: No changes whitout hnr files (so you where right it's not related)
Too bad.
But Igo is so far better than miomaps !Even without HSP :-)

Yep, I saw.
But in the crash log it is missing. And you started with this:
elfman wrote:As soon as i put an .hst files in /content/histSpeed, IGO reboots on any clic.
Thus when it's loaded, it should be in the crash.txt and it isn't, while all other map files (fbl) and hnr files are.
Now I wonder this. When you have a histSpeed folder, should it not be histspeed? (small 's')
Wed Aug 22, 2012 1:38 pm
Could it be a bad download of the hsp file?
Wed Aug 22, 2012 1:40 pm

Then you found the straw that breaks the camels back.

I was drunked when i wrote that :-)
the folder is wrote with a small 's'
But you are right the crash.txt don't mentionned it so FatBoy is probably right... it's maybe a bad download .... or maybe a faulty device who is saying "replace me with a better one" :-)

I have a Mio M400 and all the content works on it including histspeed

Fatboyfun wrote:I have a Mio M400 and all the content works on it including histspeed
So it has the same specifications than mine. And everything is working correctly for you.
What content do you have on it (tts,3d,skin etc ...)?
the size of the hsp i have is 1*671*137 (France_UNAV_60_2012.06_120612.hsp), maybe someone can tell me if it's good or not.
