iGO SEA

Postby Robi-tim » Fri Jul 27, 2012 12:36 pm

I found that there is iGO SEA app (iGO Nautical app) for iOS (iPHONE). Does anyone know are mmaps the same as other iGO. Does they work on any iGO app or just on iPHONE?

There is no separate program application for a specific area. It's the maps themselves that make the program viable for the individual. Igo maps here work for all IGO applications.

It's not sea as in ocean (navigation), it's SEA as in abbreviation for South East Asia.
Nothing more than a special regional edition. Probably much the same as changing Language and Voice files in any other iGo version, and then using South East Asia maps.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

I don't think so. Nautical maps and devices are very VERY specialized.
And tend to be very VERY expensive in comparison.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.
