In short, MioPocket is the problem. For Moovs, we recommend unlocks from [Please Register or Login to download file] . Other nice unlocks can be found at http://www.navitotal.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?140-Mio-Device-Unlock.

A word of caution is at his place. Moovs come in some variations. Worst case scenario : a wrong unlock can brick the device and you have a beautiful paperweight with a flashing screen. Thus I suggest you wait a bit until Fatboyfun has seen this post. He knows about unlocking Moovs. He can guide you better trough this.

Edit: Oops, he beats me :O

nabi is correct, MioPocket tries to turn the device into a PDA which some devices just can't cope with, Uninstall MioPocket and undo any changes you made (or restore a backup) and use the unlock at the top of the page from http://www.navitotal.com/forums/noref.php?url=http://navmanunlocked.wikispaces.com/Unlock

This is a simple unlock which consumes little in the way of memory and CPU time.

Read the instructions carefully!
