IGO8.3 Freezing

IGO8.3 Freezing

Postby camaro69 » Thu May 22, 2014 10:20 pm

Lately my IGO8.3 has been freezing and then will work again.

My head unit is an aftermarket Chinese made and has been working fine for 2.5 years.

I've also been using the same SD card.

Any chance it could be the SD card?

Because if it isn't, that means the head unit has some problems and that means $$$$.

Could be the SD card. Copy/paste your entire iGO8 program to your computer then format your SD card [not quick format]. When complete, copy the entire iGO8 program back to the SD card. The format will take awhile, so be patient.

Thanks :023:

Good to hear. Plus you made a post of your problem and unlike many others you made another post saying what worked. It's GOOD information for the other members. Thanks from Navitotal!
