I have a small problem with my GAS STATION POI's...
They simply dont want to go away even if i deselect them in my options....

i see a small black empty square like on this picture here


so, im confused, im not sure why that square shows up like that
since i turned them OFF....

do i have to manually turn all gas station POI's OFF?

I'm going to teach you something that you might not be aware of. When the box has a small black box that doesn't completely fill up the square, it simply means that somewhere in the POI section is a sub-section that is still chosen. Only when the entire box is filled with black does it mean that the main section is chosen.

You have to go through all the sub-sections in the main section to find out which one is still chosen. Click on accommodation and look everywhere.

now can i also ask,
since using the latest North America Navteq maps,
all of a sudden, the max speed icon shows up
when im driving O.O

and i took a look in the settings
and that feature isn't even checkmarked, so,
how can it still shows up when im navigating??

It probably has to do with the save folder. You may need to delete it and redo the options.

if i do that i loose all my preferences :(

It was only a suggestion. Speed icons are usually created by the map makers. Remember, you're dealing with a cracked program and license. The possibility that a feature might be "off" becomes realistic. It doesn't sound too bad to me if that's the only problem. You might just need to wait until a new set comes out.
