1. Delete the save folder
2. when you know the port and baud you could put it in sys.txt

Hello
I am new to this forum and require any assistance that can be given. I have a Chinese Double Din all in one radio/SatNav. This was supplied with Sygic but this has stopped working, to be honest not much good on the tech front but i am sure it is the software that is at fault not the unit. I have been advised that Igo 8 is a good system but to be honest I don't know how too download the file from the links given and what files to download. I was hoping that someone would be able to
A. talk me through (i.e dummies Guide)
B. send me a copy of the igo 8 system for win CE 6

I do not care if this is a trial version but I just want to test the radio unit

Any help would be great

Using Winrar, just extract the folder [igo8] to your SD card. Download the maps for your area from igo, sub-section maps. FBL to content\map. POIs to content\poi.

Hi sorry about this It must be like teaching Granparents to set a video timer.

each link i visit seems to take me to a different download page which just give me a new search engine or fileshare page which then messes up my brower. have we got a simple link straight to a igo 8 download.

Thanks again

Huh? There are NO search engines, fees or any such thing involved in any download links on the entire Navitotal site!!!! They are all straight forward links to the download themselves. Go back to my post #6 for the link to the program page. Look at the mirror sites and download both parts.
