I have done exactly what you were trying to do on exactly the same device.

I don't have the device to hand at the moment, but i'm sure you need make a shortcut to igo using this method...

And place it in "\My Flash Disk\Program Files\Unlock\Startup"

I'm not 100% sure the Unlock folder is in Program Files, It might be in the root of the device.

Type the full path to the executable as it would be on the device enclosed in quotes in notepad on your PC.

"\Storage Card\Primo\iGO.exe"

Count the number of characters including quotes and spaces,

"\Storage Card\Primo\iGO.exe" = 29

Arrange the information like this.

29#"\Storage Card\Primo\iGO.exe"

Save as Primo.lnk NOT Primo.lnk.txt by saving as "All files"
Note: Windows on the PC will hide .lnk

Edit the paths above if yours is different.
You must make sure the number of characters is 100% right or the shortcut will not work.

i need some serious help i cant even get igo8 to run at all i have d/loaded igo8 miomap and 2577 on my storage card i have already unlocked my navman icn 520 all i get is desktop with smartst on tried to go to unlock filemnger and run the autorun.exe files etc all it tells me is it cant find yet i just browsed to it ???????????????? i am at a loss been trying everything for days now still cant get it done

What have you done? What do you see? What is the exact message? ...

If you search the net for software called Miopocket, this is a front end system that I installed on my Navigon type unit that runs on windows ce, it pretty much sets itself up from an sd card and lets you install multiple navigation programmes etc. I did it last year so not sure of any links but if you search around you will not be disappointed. It uses all open source or demo software so that no copyrights are broken, what you install after that is obviously down to you.
