Yeah, scrolling to the end of the System Settings just to find an Exit got old and tedious pretty fast.
But remember, this started life as a Becker build for Becker hardware....nothing much to "Exit" to except maybe a main menu where you just start it up again (I really don't know--never had a Becker), so maybe those folks who have them don't "exit" too often.

Hi,
i downloaded your Version and i can confirm it works well on WinCE5 and 64mb ram, see attached pic, if i could suggest making the back button little larger and move to the right side , as it currently blocks the number or street view3580.
Is there a way to activate the cameras and be announced, also noticed all the cars are available and wanting to use the off-road one, how do i change it?

Many thanks for this fine update, keep up the good work.:clap:

1) You could presumably move the back button anywhere you like by editing ../ui_becker/480_272/ui/templates.css (open templates.css with Notepad or another plain text editor). Scroll about 3/4 of the way down to:
BUTTON.back {
onrelease:sc_PrevStateIfPossible;
bmp="e1_btn_footer.bmp#3";
x=9;
y=239;
rawkey=27;
usefocus:0;

Change the x and y coordinates as you like and save the file, restart with the newly edited templates.css in place and see how it looks. If you are not familiar with X/Y coordinates on a 480x272 screen, it may take some guesswork and trial & error until you get it where you want. You will not be able to change the size unless you edit/change the e1_btn_footer.bmp strip in ..ui_becker/480_272. You will not be able to open the BMP file with normal editing programs...it is specially compressed and you would need an editing/viewing/compressing program to specifically deal with that such as GPS Image Explorer (Google is your friend for that).
2) If you are talking about speedcams, the procedure is much the same as any version of Primo, however, this Becker build will NOT announce speedcams by voice (even though you can use TTS-Pro voices from Primo 1.2), you only get a warning beep/alarm sound.
3) Yes, I included all the available (car).zip files in the ..content/car folder just for the purpose of somebody wanting to change it. The cars are NOT actually used from this location as they are in Primo 1.x. Proceed as follows:
Pick a (car).zip file, extract the contents on your PC.
Amongst those files you will see a *.mdl and *.tex file. Be sure both have the same name before the extension--rename if necessary. For example, if you chose Truck.zip, you will see truck.mdl and truck.tex...you do not have to rename these. But if you chose Smart_Pulse_II.zip, you would see Smart_Pure.mdl and car_grey.tex so you would rename car_grey.tex to Smart_Pure.tex.
Now copy both those files (and only those files) to ..ui_becker/gfx.
Then change sys.txt to reflect the new car name which must match exactly with the *.mdl file you just copied above:
[3d]
car_day = "My-Car-Name.mdl"
car_night = "My-Car-Name.mdl"
ghost_day = "My-Car-Name.mdl"
ghost_night = "My-Car-Name.mdl"

Save sys.txt, restart, and your car choice should show up.

1) No Start Warning Message
2) Workable Back button
3) Exit Button on main cockpit screen
4) A load of enhanced 3D Euro-Centric POIs to choose from
5) 3D car cursor (one only--can be changed--instructions will be given on request)
6) Other various subtle improvements.

Download file (49.57 MB), extract on PC, copy resulting folder to device or SD Card--rename folder or EXE file as desired. No content (besides Basemap) or TTS voices are included. Add your own maps, etc...and use TTS voices, if desired, from here:

Adjust sys.txt adding appropriate [GPS] and [TMC] sections for your hardware, if required.
You will notice in the file structure that some files seem to be missing (no Branding.zip!), and some folders added (ui_becker). This is by design and should not be changed if you want everything to work. The data.zip has also been modified. Any of the included files/folders are for this modified build only and may not work with any other setup!

Sorry, I don't have it any more either.
I only uploaded it previously as a stop-gap version of Primo 2 until the real Primo 2 became available. Which it has.
I would now consider it obsolete.
If you HAVE a Becker, sorry.
If you don't, get the real Primo 2.
